Winter Futsal Championship 2025

Two venues. Four age groups. High-quality futsal with maximum game time for your players.

The Winter Futsal Championship combines high-quality one-day tournaments with a wider Club Championship across two venues. With tailored formats for U10–U16, guaranteed game time and a simple points system that rewards where teams finish at both Luton and Tring, the series gives clubs a meaningful winter futsal programme rather than just a one-off tournament. Every result contributes to your club’s overall standing, with the Nxt Gen Winter Club Champions crowned at the end of the series.

  • Venue: Inspire:Luton Sports Village, LU2 8DD

  • Courts: 2 indoor futsal courts

  • Dates: 14th December, 2025

Tring Winter Futsal Championship

  • Venue: Tring Sports Centre, HP23 5JU

  • Courts: 1 indoor futsal courts

  • Dates: 20th December, 2025

£90 per team

Luton - U10 & U12

(Two Courts, High-Tempo Format)

The Luton Winter Futsal Championship is designed to make full use of two indoor courts and give younger age groups plenty of game time in a compact, high-energy event.

  • Up to 10 teams per age group

  • 2 groups of 5 teams (Group A & Group B)

  • 4 group games guaranteed for every team

  • Top 2 teams from each group qualify for the semi-finals

  • Final and 3rd place playoff are played simultaneously on the two courts

Match duration:

  • 12-minute games (running clock)

  • 1-minute changeover between games

Tring - U14 & U16

(Single Court, Competitive Knockout Format)

The Tring Winter Futsal Championship offers older age groups a more intense, competitive format on a single indoor court, with meaningful knockout fixtures for every team.

  • 6 teams per age group

  • 2 groups of 3 teams (Group A & Group B)

  • 2 group games guaranteed for every team

  • All teams progress to knockout games

Structure (per age group):

  • Group Stage: round-robin within each group (2 games per team)

  • Knockout Phase:

    • Semi-finals: Winner Group A vs Runner-up Group B, Winner Group B vs Runner-up Group A

    • Final & 3rd Place Playoff

    • 5th/6th Place Playoff (3rd in each group)

Match duration:

  • 15-minute games (running clock)

  • 1-minute changeover between games

Championship Points System

​To add an extra competitive edge to the Winter Futsal Championships, we operate a simple Championship Points system based on where teams finish in each event.

Points per event (per age group):

  • 1st place – 15 points

  • 2nd place – 10 points

  • 3rd place – 8 points

  • 4th place – 4 points

  • 5th place – 1 points

These points are added to a Club Championship Table, where all teams from the same club contribute to the club’s overall total across:

  • Luton Winter Futsal Championship (U10 & U12)

  • Tring Winter Futsal Championship (U14 & U16)

At the end of the series, we crown the Nxt Gen Winter Club Champions, with a trophy and recognition across our channels.

Exact kick-off times may vary slightly, but each age group will have a clear block with all games and awards included.

Full detailed schedules and fixtures will be sent to confirmed teams before each event.
