Nxt Gen Futsal League launched in 2024 to give young players aged 10–16 something that didn't exist in Hertfordshire — a properly run, competitive futsal environment built around technical development.
Two seasons in, 24 teams and 200+ attendees per event later, the mission hasn't changed. Structured leagues. Qualified referees. Live results via Sofascore. Real competition across U10, U12, U14, and U16 divisions — with every age group capped at six teams.
We run out of Tring Sports Centre, serving teams from Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and London. Every event is built around one belief: technical players deserve a stage where ability wins, not size.
Where Technical Players Are Made
UK youth football loses months every winter to waterlogged pitches and cancelled sessions. Meanwhile, players train on full-size grass pitches that reward athleticism over ability. Technical development stalls.
Futsal changes that. A smaller court. A heavier ball. A 4-second rule that eliminates time-wasting and keeps the game moving. Players get 600% more touches, make faster decisions, and develop close control that transfers directly to the outdoor game.
